After School Program
Red Ball (Ages 8 and under) Program focuses on basic stroke techniques, movement, and consistency on the 36’ Quickstart court, while keeping tennis fun. The red ball is used. Days: Tuesday, Thursday 5-6 p.m. and Saturday 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Orange Ball (Ages 10 and under) Program focuses on techniques while placing heavy emphasis on stroke technique and developing match play abilities. The 60’ Quickstart court and the orange ball are used. These players are encouraged to participate in USTA Junior Team Tennis and tournament play.
Days: Tuesday, Thursday 4:30-6 p.m. and Saturday 10:30-12 p.m.
Green Ball (Ages 10-12) Levels I, II, III Program’s Level I is designed for players who are playing competitive matches and who are preparing to move to the academy level. Level II focuses on getting players to develop their match play and technical skills. Level III is suited for players new to the game and will focus heavily on technical foundations of the game. Player Development is a full court, green ball class.
Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 5-6:45 p.m. and Saturday 12-2p.m.
Teen Class (Ages 13 & up) Program is designed for teenage players who have limited tennis experience. The class is full court with a yellow ball.
Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 5-6:45 p.m. and Saturday 12-2 p.m.
Academy Levels Elite/A, B, C Program is designed for advanced players who are playing tournaments and or are on middle or high school tennis teams. Our professionals work with players to take their skills, fitness, mental focus, and game to the next level.
Academy Group ABC
Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 5:00pm-6:45p.m.
Elite Academy Group AB
Tuesday and Thursday 5:00pm-6:45 p.m.
Players choosing the unlimited program must inform the club by the first of each month. For program details please consult one of the Blakeney Head Tennis Professionals.
PLEASE NOTE: AGE DESCRIPTIONS ARE USED ONLY AS A GUIDELINE. PLAYERS MAY BE MOVED UP WITH COACHES’ APPROVAL TO A MORE ADVANCED CLASS IF PLAYER’S PERFORMANCE WARRANTS THE PROMOTION.
